Kenneth & Jo Lunceford

Kenneth Lunceford started his career at Slip Service Company in 1961 as a machinist trainee.  He worked his way through all operations, and became shop foreman in 1978.  Mr. Lunceford became owner and CEO of Slip Service Co in 1996. Throughout the years Slip Service has been a manufacturer of well service tools and a distributor for numerous companies in the market segment. Jo Lunceford became co-owner and Vice President of Slip Service Company in 1996.

Mr. Lunceford has been active in the Permian Basin community including 20 plus years coaching youth athletics as well as 4 years as League President of the Odessa Little League Baseball organization.  He has been a strong supporter of the local community, non-profit groups, and both Odessa High and Permian High School booster clubs.

Mrs. Lunceford exemplifies the Permian Basin culture and demonstrated community leadership throughout her life.  She is currently an active member of the Progressive Study Club where she is the editor of the monthly Progressive Study Club Newsletter.

Kenneth and Jo have lived in Odessa for the entire lives and are proud to call Odessa their home.  They have three sons, Craig Lunceford (Nashville, TN), Shane Lunceford (Saginaw, TX), and Brent Lunceford (Austin, TX). They also have five grandchildren ranging in ages 11-23.  Their grandchildren include Lexi, Reece, Cliff, Mackenzie and Tyler.
