Josefina Hooker

Josefina R. Hooker was born in Santiago, Cuba and moved to the United States in 1968 with her mother, grandparents and two brothers. Josefina attended the National Automobile Dealers Association Academy and became president of Freedom Buick GMC Truck, Inc. after purchasing the dealership in 2001.

“Purchasing a vehicle is a very exciting time and it is nice to share the excitement with our customers,” said Hooker. “Every day we strive to achieve our goal of serving the people of this community by offering them our sincerity, our honesty and our friendship.”

Josefina has a great passion for giving back to the community and helping those in need. She has volunteered for the Education Foundation and Girl Scouts, and currently volunteers with Safe Kids. In addition she has served on the Board of Directors for  ODC, Education Foundation, Goodwill, GM Womens Retail Initiative and the Junior League of Odessa Advisory Board.

Married to her husband Albert for 36 years, they have two children and two grandchildren.
