Jim Breaux has worked hard to keep his family business successful. In 1962 Jim’s father, Baxter Breaux, started Permian Engineering & Manufacturing Corporation. In 1986, the name was changed to PEMCO Equipment Inc. and Jim took over running the company. PEMCO offers oilfield equipment, and they are especially known for masts on well service rigs. These masts have a reputation for quality, design, workmanship and dependability, and they can be found on all continents except Antarctica.
Jim graduated from Permian High School in 1971 and attended Odessa College and Southwest Texas State where he studied Business. He is active in the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, Odessa Downtown Rotary Club and the Odessa College Foundation. Jim currently serves on the board of directors for the Permian Basin Rehab Center, Grow Odessa and the Odessa Development Corporation. He is a past board member of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce and enjoys golfing, traveling, snow skiing and music, especially at Wagner Noël.
Jim and his wife Debbie have been married for 10 years. He has four children: Katie, Kandi, Claire and Bethany. Jim also has three grandchildren and one on the way.
