Gary N. Haner, P.E.

Gary N. Haner, P.E. Engineered Pipeline Systems, Inc.

Gary N. Haner, P.E. is a co-owner of Engineered Pipeline Systems, Inc. with Tommy Melton. The business opened in February of 1990 and provides design, material procurement and construction of energy projects. Engineered Pipeline Systems, Inc is the only firm providing EPC services to oil field production.

Gary attended high school in Spearman, Texas and graduated from Texas A & I with a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Engineering. He has volunteered for the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, Odessa Industrial Development Corporation, CRMWD and WTC of SCSCI. Gary currently serves on the board of directors for OIDC, Colorado River Municipal Water District and the West Texas Chapter of Safari Club International. He previously served on the Odessa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as well as the Permian Basin Chapter of Texas Society of Professional Engineers.

In addition to Engineered Pipeline Systems, Inc., Gary owns West Texas Consultants, Inc. and Esmond-Haner, Inc.

Gary ad his wife Viki have two children, three grandchildren and one great grandson.


Bill Knighten

Bill Knighten Knighten Machine & Service, Inc.

Bill Knighten attended high school in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. After graduating in 1947, Bill went on to Hemphill Diesel School where he studied Diesel Mechanics. He spent time as a heavy equipment technician and serviceman for National Supply and opened Knighten Industries, Inc. in 1969.

Knighten Industries can handle virtually any pump need. They offer a full service machine shop, shop and field services for all types of pumps and a state of the art fabrication department to build and manufacture turn-key pump packages. Headquartered in Odessa, Knighten Industries Inc. has six other locations throughout Texas.

Bill is proud of the reputation they have maintained in the industry for the past 46 years. He believes in integrity, fairness and honesty in all transactions with clients.
Bill and his wife Martha have been married for 21 years and have four children together – Alan, Margaret, James and Brian. Bill also has two stepsons, Abel and Miguel, and eight grandchildren.

SC “Trey” Myers

SC “Trey” Myers Ref-Chem L.P.

For SC “Trey” Myers, Odessa is home. A graduate of Permian High School, Trey attended Texas A & M University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. In the past, Trey worked for a large commercial construction company as a Sr. Project Manager. Now, as President/CEO of Ref-Chem, L.P., Trey leads one of the oldest and largest privately owned employers in the Permian Basin.

Ref-Chem L.P. offers engineering, construction, maintenance, EPC and field services for the oil & gas, power, chemical, refining, petrochem industrial gas and proppant industries throughout the United States. Established in 1957, the company embraces the idea that “safety saves lives and that quality creates jobs” and is proud to call Odessa home.

Trey volunteers at a variety of organizations including the food bank, United Way, Mission Messiah, MD Anderson and Compassion International. He currently serves on the board of directors for Ref-Chem L.P. and has previously served on the board for Emmaus Ministry and the Permian Basin Associated Builders and Contractors Inc.

Trey and his wife Dr. Georgia Dawn Myers, DVM have been married for 40 years and have a daughter named Sarah Elizabeth Miller. They have two grandchildren, Emma and GracieAnne.

Eddy Shelton

Eddy Shelton Apple Electrical Contractors, Inc.

Eddy Shelton opened Apple Electrical Contractors, Inc. in March 1994 with his wife Teresa. The business offers electrical construction and maintenance for the oil and gas industry and their mission is to provide the best quality and value based services in the industry. In addition, Eddy owns Castlerock Construction.

Eddy attended Odessa High School and then went on to Odessa College where he studied Electrical. When he isn’t working, Eddy volunteers with the YMCA and Big 12 Football Officials Association. He is a referee for Division 1 Football in the Mountain West Conference and has been to three bowl games: Hawaii Bowl, Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and Beef ‘o’ Brady’s Bowl. He currently serves on the board for the YMCA, Security Bank and the Board of Survey.

Eddy and his wife Teresa have been married over 30 years. They are parents to Abby Shelton and Lindsey & Brady Coke and have three grandchildren.
